Security officers are the primary brand ambassadors and safety guardians of any commercial corporate building, industrial plant, hospital, or residential community. A guard's appearance, posture, verbal communication, and moral integrity directly influence how visitors, employees, and clients perceive the safety and professionalism of an entire organization. Adhering to a strict Code of Conduct ensures that security personnel execute their duties with vigilance, respect, and zero compromise on safety. Module 1: Professional Uniform & Grooming Standards A security officer must report to shift 15 minutes prior to roll call in full, immaculate uniform: Uniform Care: Ironed shirt and trousers with crisp creases. No faded, torn, or stained uniforms are permitted on duty. Footwear: Black security boots or formal shoes polished to a high shine with clean black socks. Identification & Badges: Display official photo ID card, PSARA badge, name tag, and company shoulder lapels clearly on the left chest. Personal Hygiene: Clean-shaven or neatly trimmed beard, short professional haircut, clean fingernails, and fresh body hygiene. Duty Gear: Carry mandatory duty accessories — whistle, lanyard, LED flashlight, notebook, pen, and pocket baton.
